Gr. 4/5 Science

We are currently in a Science Unit: Light. We are over the halfway mark in the unit. So, as such, I would like to see how students are progressing. Consequently, there will be a quiz on Friday, October 27. I sent home a note outlining the test format as well as providing a brief study guide.

Gr. 5 Health

The unit we are currently studying is Nutrition/Diet. Students are learning about Canada's Food Guide, and how to use it properly. Students are to keep track of their food intake for 5 consecutive days on the Food tracker recording form I sent home a few days ago. We are on Day 2.

Gr. 5 Science: Quiz

We are currently over half way through the Unit: Properties of Materials. As such there will be a Quiz on Friday, Oct. 27. I sent a note home a few days ago explaining the test format as well as a study guide.

Gr. 3 Science Mid-Term quiz

There will be a Mid-term quiz on Plant Growth on Thursday, Oct. 26/2017. Topics covered thus far in the unit are: Plant parts; functions of plant parts; Basic needs of plants; First Nations perspective on plants; sacred plants to First Nations; How plants make food; Life cycle of plants; Tomatosphere; bean seed greenhouse.

Please help your child prepare for this quiz as they are not used to writing tests.
